Standard Warranty
A 2-year warranty is always a part of the purchase of a new HIAB crane. Any faults that arise during the warranty period are guaranteed and will be swiftly fixed by local client service.
Two years on all products and components
HIAB loader cranes are built to perform, with strong materials and a quality of workmanship no other supplier can match. And because we build them with care, we stand behind them with confidence. Today all HIAB cranes come with a two-year Standard Warranty* that applies to all components. Not only does it cover the parts you expect, it also covers the following wear parts:
- Painting
- Seals (both internal and external)
- Flexible hoses
Five years on steel
In fact, our Standard Warranty goes much further than the first two years. For all HIAB cranes with lift counts, the warranty is five years for structural steel components (3rd, 4th and 5th year labor is not covered).
Even on cranes without lift counts,** our warranty for structural steel components is three years –regardless of hook or tool mode. And best of all, you can extend the Standard Warranty for any HIAB crane by signing a service agreement.
**Applies to CL/CLX cranes, only available in certain countries.
Extended warranty (optional)

*Disclaimer: The Standard Warranty is subject to the products being registered for warranty as per the standard Hiab warranty process. The Standard Warranty covers the repair or replacement necessary to correct defects in the materials or workmanship of any products or parts manufactured or supplied by Hiab (or its authorized dealers) that appear under the conditions of normal operation and in proper use and does not cover defects arising from an accident, misuse (for example, extremely heavy use or exceeding load limits defined in the operating instructions) or negligence, nor does it cover normal deterioration or wear and tear. Further exclusions and requirements for the warranty coverage may apply. The Standard Warranty is always subject to the Hiab Warranty Terms and the (local) Hiab General Sales Terms & Conditions, as in force from time to time. Please note that the Warranty Terms and warranty periods may differ from country to country. With respect to details and/or exclusions to the warranties noted above, please refer to the applicable Hiab Warranty Manual or contact your local Hiab representative.
