From the ground up: 70 years of heavy lifting
These are just a few of the milestones that we've passed over the decades.
Waltco Engineering in Gardena, California, answers the call to create a liftgate for the U.S. Department of Defense. WALTCO is born.
WALTCO is widely known for its flagship F series wide-arm flipaway lift, as well as the mid-arm E series (E for Economy).
The WALTCO F series is established as an industry leader.
The LPF series revolutionizes WALTCO’s flipaway offering. Fully assembled before shipping, the LPF quickly becomes the preferred lift for large lease companies.
WALTCO merges with ULTRON in 2009. By combining unique design elements from both companies, the flagship HLF and EM series are launched.
WALTCO introduces Solar Charger for continuous liftgate battery charging; and HiConnect for data-enhanced productivity and safety.
To better meet customer needs, WALTCO relocates HQ, manufacturing, and operations to larger facilities in Streetboro, IL.
